Dallas Sutton and
Lazy W Arena wish to thank everyone for a great
first year at Lazy W. Lazy W had the honor of
hosting several events this past year and would like
to thank the individuals and organizations who
entrusted their events to the Arena and staff.
Lazy W would
like to recognize the High School Rodeo Board and
all of the members for having two high school rodeo
events, The Cowboy Church and all of their members
for hosting a Ricky Green Roping Clinic, and Lisa
Patrick and all the NBHA members for allowing me to
host the NBHA All District Show.
Lazy W would
also like to thank every individual who came out in
support of the special events that we at Lazy W have
produced this year. We could not have had such a
wonderful first year if it had not been for your
support, participation and encouragement.
We at Lazy W
hope you all are looking forward to the upcoming
year as much as we are and are pleased to announce
the introduction of some new events along with our
previous year’s lineup. Lazy W will be putting on
a winter Youth Rodeo Series, a winter Friday Night
Barrel Racing series, Winter Team Roping events,
Show Me the Money Barrel Racing Series, and the
Cowboy Mounted Shooting events.
Please watch
our website for future events, to include our new
gymkhana events that are geared toward children and
adults. These events will be promoting a
fun-filled family atmosphere where families can
share a day of fun horse-oriented events, both among
themselves and with other families that share their
love of horses. Lazy W is hoping this winter’s
gymkhana is only the first in a series of continuing
events dedicated to advancing the horse industry as
a whole through its promotion of family-oriented
events.
Along with
promoting family participation in our events we at
Lazy W also hope to promote a spirit of cooperation
with the other barns and arenas in our area to
further promote the horse industry. In a first
cooperative effort, Lazy W and Buck & Spain Arenas
will co-produce a Team Sorting Series beginning
October 11, 2008.
Dallas Sutton
extends to past and potential visitors a personal
message. “It has a been a wild ride trying to learn
the ropes of running a large arena but I have loved
every minute of it and I am looking forward to my
second year hosting events at Lazy W. I would like
to thank the individuals and organizations that
trusted me with their events this past year and hope
that I can continue to support your event needs in
the future. Your continued support is greatly
appreciated.”
